“Mr. Khanom Tom”, the best Thai boxer There is a name appearing in the annals of "Thai-Burma"




Mr. Khanom Tom, a good and skilled boxer from the old capital, came to offer it. King Mangra ordered Burmese boxing to be compared with Nai Khanom Tom by arranging the fight in front of the royal throne. It appeared that Nai Kanom Tom could not fight with the Burmese until the round and won by nine and ten people. King Mangra looked up and raised his hand to slap his chest. He praised Mr. Khanom Tom saying, “These Thai people have poison all around them. Even with his bare hands he could defeat nine or ten people.


After Mr. Khanom Tom defeated the Burmese boxer King Mangra gave a reward to Mr. Khanom Tom. by being appointed as a servant in the city of Inwa But Mr. Kanomtom refused. and asked King Mangra to free himself and all Thai captives to return to their homeland. King Mangra agreed to do as he wished. In the end, Mr. Khanom Tom and the Thai captives were freed and returned to their hometown, which is the land of Thailand with Thonburi as the capital during the reign of King Thonburi or King Taksin the Great. Mr. Kanomtom was able to live in his hometown peacefully. But it is not known when he died.
